CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Cabarrus County Schools has started a communication group for families whose children will begin kindergarten in the fall of 2027.
The group is called the Fall 2027 Kinder Communication Group and runs on ParentSquare, the platform the district uses to message families. Parents who join will get updates, tips and information meant to help them get a young child ready for the first year of school.
The group is aimed at parents and guardians of children who are not yet in school but are expected to enter kindergarten in 2027. Families do not need to wait until registration season to connect with the district.
Parents can find the sign-up link in the district's announcement. The district did not list a deadline for joining or any cost in its announcement.
The district said it looks forward to welcoming incoming kindergarten families to Cabarrus County Schools.
